In Ajiit’s teachings the emphasis is on the maturity of mind as the essential condition for realization. Every mind may want to be awake, however it needs to be ready for, it needs to be directed and held in continuous inquiry. If mind is ready, a single Satsang is enough for Self-realization; even Satsang is not needed than, one can realize oneself in any moment of life. Maturity of mind does not mean accumulated intellectual knowledge, rather the result of persistent investigation; to behold and come beyond all mental conditions, which hold you back to live freedom. It’s not enough to know you are not the body, a part of you needs to be prepared to understand you are Consciousness, Silence itself.

Satsangs are important, yet seekers cannot exclusively rely on it as spiritual practice. During Satsang or any practice people often experience stillness and a quiet mind, although one needs to understand, the same way that mind can become awake by the effect of Satsang or other spiritual practice, mind can be put to sleep by the attraction of world, by losing one’s own center in everyday life activities. So if investigation and practice is needed, it is only to hold attention on stillness continuously, to hold mind in the Heart continuously. The final goal is to maintain the peace and stillness of Satsang in our everyday life. Due to the process of guided investigation, finally mind will become mature and ready to realize its own nature.
