Satguru Sri Ramana Devi
In 1979, while Sri Ramana was still a 5 year-year-old school girl, Satguru Sri Ramana Devi realised Brahman. Since that time, in whatever way was possible, Sri Ramana has been helping people to Know Brahman, and to realise the truth of who they are.
Sri Ramana has had no guru or formal instruction in spiritual matters, she had not practised meditation, or tapas. Sri Ramana's knowledge comes effortlessly from within. The teachings she gives come from her own inner experience of the self, rather than from any formal training. And yet all her wisdom can be found in the teachings of Advaita Vedanta. Sri Ramana's innate knowledge can be found mirrored in the ancient scriptures and Hindu texts. Sri Ramana is able to translate these scriptures, and make them accessible to everyone. Sri Ramana has a unique ability to make complex spiritual passages down to earth and relevant to modern day life. Sri Ramana's Ashram is in lancashire, and her Mission is supported by Shiva Trust charity which was set up for Sri Ramana by her devotees.
