Awakening into Life as Life Itself

What is the felt experience of realization as it is lived out in everyday life? Once the honeymoon is over and the descent back into daily routine and its unconscious undercurrents occurs, how does life appear? Complete realization includes not only an awakened mind knowing itself as both nothing and everything, but also the intelligence of the body, knowing that it is part of the whole of life.

If we are to fully awaken, then our awakening needs to happen in the depths of the body itself.

Just like realization, embodiment is not an 'event', but rather something that happens organically and gradually as Greater Knowing filters more deeply into our being, penetrating the strata of the unconscious. This becomes a reclaiming of the body and mind, revealing itself through gradual changes in how we act, feel, and think, and in heightened intimacy with life as it arises. Through the process of embodiment, we recognize that freedom within our conditions happens prior to any freedom from our conditions. It’s the presence of our innate freedom that leads us to alter our conditions, or, evolve. Embodiment brings us into our humanness, stepping toward what is arising rather than away from it, embracing ourselves in ever more intimate ways. Remembering that you are the whole ends the seeking for completion and initiates living consciously from the perspective of Wholeness.

Embodiment is the ever-deeper realization that we are connected to, and one with, the totality of existence. From the free and eternal spirit to the conditional being and its organic, time-bound vehicle, it can all be embraced by consciousness as “self”. All that really matters is that we, as light, continue to embrace, penetrate, observe, and be creative in this as in all worlds through which we pass.
