On the spiritual search we develop an idea of what ‘it’ is. The final arrival point that will make everything better. The spiritual awakening when everything makes sense. An experience of bliss and peace. Perhaps you have even had experiences of getting ‘it’, when thoughts fell away and a sense of spacious expansion was felt. But after a while, you probably experienced losing ‘it’ as these experiences passed and thoughts crowded in to replace them. This roller-coaster of highs and lows is incredibly painful.
