What types of Satguru are there? Nitya Anadi Satguru – can take a human form at will, they are the eternal Satguru. Swayamsiddha Satguru- existent through himself. Adhayassiddha Satguru – with the quality of fearlessness. Parampara Satguru – with a guru lineage. What is the main purpose of a Satguru? A satguru must propagate love, service and compassion within society. They are responsible for creating a balance within the three gunas. What is Darshan? Darshan is the transmission of the Satguru’s energy and consciousness (Pure Unconditional Love). What does Darshan do? Darshan releases blockages within the energy body, it destroys negative patterns in the mind, it draws up the soul into a more conscious awareness and heals any physical ailments within the body. Should I prepare for Darshan? There is no preparation for Darshan, Darshan works with everyone regardless of their attitude. How should I behave during Darshan? The key to receiving the Satguru’s transmission is to sit in silence and just relax, be open and breathe nice deep breaths. Doing this before, during and after receiving Darshan is a perfect way to get the most out of the experience. Can I perform Darshan? No, the Satguru has trained for many years, and undergone a severe purification process. This is now effortless for them.
