  • Free men are truly feared by those who live in detachment from the original power of life, folded within a system of control and suppression, yet ready to awake. Nonetheless we cannot get rid of what we truly are. And this is essentially free and filled with beauty and unbounded creativity.
    Leon d'Avigdor
  • Tantra is, at least in the contemporary Western world, above all a major misunderstanding. While it is in fact an ancient and extremely powerful path of self-realization rooted in Divine revelation, it has become a synonym for spiritual sex and a non-word for those who condemn so-called sexual liberty.
    Leon d'Avigdor
  • When you allow yourself to be touched, to be touchable, you enter the path towards freedom as freedom and openness are closely related. Tantra means to become wide open and to let go of your protective mechanisms.
    Leon d'Avigdor
  • Expansion of the limits to your experience of awareness, energy and creative expression can happen to the extent you embark on what is inside the limits. Once a given ‘amount’ of awareness, energy and creative expression completely fills your inner space, the space will expand and the limits will widen.
    Leon d'Avigdor
  • There is nothing to achieve or the fear. To realize this is the true revolution.
    Leon d'Avigdor
  • Whatever happens to or between persons, happens according to an interaction of tendencies within a given field. This is why there is no such thing as free choice. A person can neither control its tendencies nor those of others. On the contrary, it is controlled itself by the tendencies. Therefore the person can never experience true freedom.
    Leon d'Avigdor
  • On the tantric path, we learn how to turn daily experiences, including those that are unpleasant, painful, and humiliating, into tools for growth and liberation. When we try to oppose them, they will break us. When we realize that they are a representation of one and the same Divine ‘substance’ (which is consciousness), we will break them.
    Leon d'Avigdor
  • When awareness naturally expands, you do not cut off lower stages that from a higher standpoint seem to be untrue, less complete or undignified. On the tantric path of expansion you integrate the lower into the higher, the narrower into the wider.
    Leon d'Avigdor
  • We must accept that the world can give nothing to us but we can give everything to the world.
    Leon d'Avigdor
  • Even the most destructive behavior can be ascribed to the longing for love and happiness.
