Leon d'Avigdor is a master of the Pratyabhijna School of Kashmir Shaivism, an ancient, yet timeless current of non-dualistic tantra. Leon shares a distinct and radically open path to self-realization.
LEON D‘AVIGDOR is a master of energy work and a tantric teacher in the line of Kashmir Shavism. He also works as a filmmaker, author and therapist.
Leon shares a distinct, yet radically open path to self-realization and personal fulfillment. He invites his students to embark on the original flow of life beyond all concepts and techniques. A focal point of Leon‘s work are projects that transcend the boundaries between art, spirituality, and therapy/healing.
The core of his teaching is the ‘methodless method’ (Anupaya Yoga) of the Pratyabhijna School which invites to give up seeking and to recognize your true nature through limitless acceptance of suchness.
In meetings, workshops, retreats and long-term trainings, Leon melts the "methodless method" with tantric energy work, ritual theater (a body-oriented group improvisation), contact and movement improvisations, and Neo-Reichian bodywork. Meetings with Leon are moved by intuition, spontaneity and an immediate connection with cosmic space rather than following a prescribed set of tools and techniques. Although a rich spectrum of practices is implemented, it is always the Now and the actual energy field from which elements of the process emerge in a natural way.
The 'center of gravity' of the practice he shares, is a unique form of shaktipat. In this eyes-open meditation you sit in a circle with the teacher in a field of consciousness and energy that allows for a deeply opening and transformative experience of presence beyond all goals and concepts.
