In every moment, we have a choice to open or close. Closure creates contraction and this is suffering. Openness creates relaxation and this is freedom. In this weekend retreat, we will investigate - through radical self-honesty - the areas of our lives in which the habitual reactive pattern of closure continues to play out and how we can resolve this by fully meeting our experience. By deeply embracing the full depth and breadth of life, we support the awakening process. And, if we have already glimpsed the awakened state, we facilitate awakening to move from mind to heart to belly. There will be time for Silent Sitting, Guided Meditation, Discourse, and Inquiry.

This retreat is open to all.

Please note this is a fully residential retreat so as to create a safe container for a deeper inquiry and for inner silence; we encourage you to join us for the full residential. We also some commuter places (non-residential, all meals included), but you will need to stay for the full schedule which includes an evening session (after dinner). See details below.

Accommodation & Catering -

Accommodation is in either double or single rooms. The rooms are light and comfy. Bathroom facilities are shared.

Healthy, delicious and beautiful meals are served, including sustainably raised salmon, free range chicken, steamed fresh vegetables, fresh mixed green salads, & often times homemade desserts. Local organic produce is used whenever possible. Vegetarian/vegan and special dietary requirements can be requested in advance.

On the day of arrival, dinner will be served. On the Saturday, there will be breakfast, lunch and dinner. And on the Sunday, breakfast and lunch will be served.

Fees -

We offer discounted rates to those who need a little financial support. The fees include accommodation and all meals.

Single occupancy room = full rate $450 / discounted rate $425

Double occupancy room = full rate $410 / discounted rate $385

Commuter (all meals included) = full rate $345 / discounted rate $325

Cancellations -

Cancellations before March 31st, the full fee minus a $50 administration charge will be refunded. After this date and up to April 30th, 50% of the full fee is refunded. There are no refunds after this date.
